Liverpool target Jose Callejon will not be leaving Real Madrid this summer, according to the winger’s agent. Although the 25-year-old only made five league starts for the Spanish giants last season, he established himself as a super-sub for Jose Mourinho’s La Liga-winning outfit. Callejon came off the bench to score some vital goals for Real, who are keen to see off reported interest from new Reds boss Brendan Rodgers.
Manuel Garica Quilon, the Spaniard’s representative, said: “There are several teams interested in signing him. Real Madrid do not want to sell and have declared him non-transferable. He is not going to leave the club this summer.”
